The 2025 Annual Educational Trip organised by Brisbane Sinhala School (BSS), affiliated with the Sinhala Association of Queensland, was proudly held as an exciting overnight camping experience at PGL Kindalin, Redland Bay.
Stepping away from classrooms, textbooks and routines, students immersed themselves in outdoor challenges designed to build teamwork, leadership, resilience, communication skills and empathy.
From high energy group activities and problem-solving challenges to confidence building exercises, every moment encouraged collaboration and mutual support.
Watching students motivate one another and celebrate shared achievements was truly inspiring. Meanwhile, parents strengthened friendships, built new connections and shared in the joy of seeing their children grow in confidence and independence.
The evening campfire brought everyone together in laughter, songs and heartfelt conversations, moments that will remain cherished memories for years to come.
Experiences like these shape not only confident young individuals but also a stronger, more connected school community. Shared memories create lasting bonds and this weekend, the BSS family grew even closer.

ක්වීන්ස්ලන්ත සිංහල සංගමයට (SAQ) අනුබද්ධ බ්රිස්බේන් සිංහල පාසලේ (BSS) වාර්ෂික අධ්යාපන චාරිකාව සඳහා මෙවර තෝරා ගැණුනේ කඳවුරු බැඳීමේ (Camping)ක්රියාකාරකමකි.
Redland Bay හි පිහිටි PGL Kindalin කඳවුරු පරිශ්රයේදී ස්වභාවධර්මය සමඟ සම්බන්ධ වූ කඳවුරු (Camping) අත්දැකීමක් ලබා ගන්නට ඊට සහභාගී වූ සියලු දූදරුවන්ට හැකි විය.
මෙම කඳවුරු අත්දැකීම, පන්තිකාමරය හා පොත්පත් සීමාවෙන් බැහැරව, දරුවන්ට ජීවිතයේ වැදගත්මූ ලික අගයන් අත්දැකීම් මගින් ඉගෙන ගැනීමට ඉඩ සලසා දුන් අවස්ථාවක් විය. කණ්ඩායම් ක්රීඩා, ගැටලු විසඳීමේ ක්රියාකාරකම් සහ ආත්මවිශ්වාසය ගොඩනඟන අභියෝග වැනි වැඩසටහන් තුළින්
ඔවුන් කණ්ඩායම් ක්රියාකාරකම්, නායකත්වය, ඔරොත්තු දීම, සන්නිවේදනය සහ අනෙකා පිළිබඳ සංවේදීතාව වර්ධනය කර ගත්හ.
දරුවන් එකිනෙකාට දිරි දෙමින් අභියෝග ජයගත් අයුරු දැකීම දෙමාපියන්ට මහත් සතුටක් විය. ඒ සමඟම, දෙමාපියන් ද සමාජික සබඳතා තවදුරටත් ශක්තිමත් කර ගනිමින්, සාමූහික ක්රියාකාරකම් හා සංවාද තුළින් අලුත් මිත්රත්වයන් ගොඩනඟා ගත්හ. රාත්රීයේදී කඳවුරු ගිණිමැළය වටා එකතු වී ගීත ගායනය, සිනාව හා කතාබහ සමඟ ගත කළ මොහොතවල්, අපගේ පාසල් පවුලේ එකමුතුභාවය තවත් ගැඹුරු කළ අමතක නොවන අත්දැකීම් බවට
පත්විය.
මෙවැනි අත්දැකීම් මගින් ශක්තිමත් වන්නේ දරුවන්ගේ පෞරුෂය පමණක් නොව, අපගේ සමස්ත පාසල් ප්රජාවයි. එකට අත්විඳින මතකයන්, දිගුකාලීන බැඳීම් ගොඩනඟන පදනම වේ.
