The Queensland Communal Reconstruction of Sri Lankan Performing Arts
Saralanga 2025 was a vibrant cultural celebration that brought together the rich traditions of Sri Lankan performing arts to the Queensland community. Organised by the Sinhala Association of Queensland Inc., the event showcased the collective spirit of Sri Lankan culture through music, dance, and artistic performances that highlighted the heritage and talent of the local community.
Held at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Sunday, 28 September 2025, the event began at 4:00 PM and welcomed families, artists, and cultural enthusiasts for an evening dedicated to preserving and celebrating Sri Lanka’s performing arts traditions in Queensland.
Saralanga 2025 served as a communal platform for performers of all ages, particularly young artists, to present traditional and contemporary Sri Lankan cultural performances on stage. The event demonstrated the ongoing commitment of the Sinhala Association of Queensland to promoting cultural heritage and strengthening community connections through the arts.

Ticket Information
Tickets for the event were priced at $40 for adults and $30 for children.
All attendees were required to purchase a ticket except those performing on stage.
Ticket issuing, checking, and seating arrangements were managed by Logan Entertainment Centre staff.
Children participating in stage performances received complimentary tickets, with reserved seating arranged in the Balcony section under staff supervision. Tickets were required for all other seating areas outside of these reserved sections.
Parents wishing for their child to sit with them after their performance were advised to purchase an additional ticket for their child.
