SAQ Youth Management Committee

Leadership Term: 2027

The Sinhala Association of Queensland (SAQ) invites nominations from eligible young people to serve on the inaugural SAQ Youth Management Committee.

This initiative aims to develop future leaders within the Queensland Sri Lankan community by providing opportunities to contribute to youth programs, cultural activities, community engagement initiatives and leadership development projects.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for nomination, applicants must:

• Be a registered member of the SAQ rising leaders’ program

• Be between 14 and 25 years of age.

• Reside in Queensland.

• Support the objectives of the Sinhala Association of Queensland.

• Be willing to actively participate in Youth Committee activities.

• Commit to upholding the SAQ Youth Code of Conduct.

• For applicants under 18 years of age, parental/guardian consent is required.
